I have a hatred of mayonnaise so fervent that some people say it's verging on a phobia. Unfortunately, one of my favorite things to dip french fries or pizza in is ranch dressing, which is usually about 50% mayo (seems contradictory I know). To ensure I'm safe from the strife I cause myself when I eat a mayo-based dressing (and also because we don't have any ranch in our fridge), I decided to create my own ranch dressing! To all my fellow mayo-hating ranch lovers out there, I see you.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup plus one Tablespoon fat free greek yogurt
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chives, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon pickle juice (if available)
1 pinch celery powder
1 pinch dried parsley
Blend all ingredients in a blender, or whisk all ingredients until combined. For a thicker ranch dressing, use 1/2 cup of yogurt.
